INTRODUCTION

The LUYOR-3415 Dual Fluorescent Protein Flashlight is a portable and powerful excitation light source that includes two different, switch-selectable high-intensity LEDs for excitation of fluorescent proteins or other fluorophores. There are 5 different light sources available. It comes with fluorescence viewing glasses and a storage case. The viewing glasses are well matched to the excitation source so that they block the reflected excitation light while transmitting the fluorescence with high efficiency, providing excellent viewing contrast.

LUYOR-3415 provides two different excitation light sources. To specify your color combinations, use the following part numbers:

U – Ultraviolet

V – Violet

R – Royal Blue

C – Cyan

G – Green

Example: LUYOR-3415RG is equipped with Royal Blue and Green light.

"The Arabidopsis seeds contain red fluorescent proteins. Under the light of LUYOR-3415RG, we can easily identity genetically modified Arabidopsis seeds. This greatly facilitated the subsequent selection of homozygotes. After seeds germinate and saplings grow up, the lamp can also be used to test saplings and assess the results of the previous selection. The roots of Arabidopsis saplings showed green fluorescent light under the light of LUYOR-3415RG. We are pretty satisfied with the performance of the lamp."
